(More customer reviews)It may have been that my expectations were a little too high. After all, this is one book dealing with 3 different types of airliners. Don't get me wrong, I don't regret my purchase, and I would buy it again, but it isn't exactly what I had hoped for. The section on the Convair airliners was very short, but maybe that is to be expected since there not not many of that type made. Overall a good book, but not one of the best.

During the 1960s these aircraft were the main players in a decade that saw general acceptance of jet airliner travel and the replacement of propeller-driven aircraft. This colorful study looks at each of these three American jetliners, providing details of design, production and service. Packed with superb color photos depicting that bygone era of jet travel.
