The Triple Seven is a revolutionary plane both for commercial aircraft industry in general and Boeing in particular.
As a matter of fact, this big twin - truly the biggest one - is the right solution in this difficult era of the air transport (latest version -300 and -300ER can replace comfortably the old 747 Classics both in range and capacity with a fuel saving between 30 and 40%).
This volume covers very well all the inception phase of the project, the "paperless project" approach chosen by Boeing and the test phase. Very nice photos illustrates the production phase, but it could have been very interesting describe in deep all the aspects related to the assembly phase. Last chapter covers entry into service and other appendixes are delivery list and specification/performance.
Overall this is a good book, with many interesting facts and an ample coverage on this important jetliner. It could be SUPER if it had more attention in the image printing aspect.
Very recommended, however, for all airliners enthusiast.
