(More customer reviews)What kind of connotation does the expression "conspiracy theory" give you?
If a you get a negative connotation, you should know that according to the dictionary, a "conspiracy" is "an agreement to perform together an illegal, wrongful, or subversive act". You should also know that the U.S. governments official explanation of 9/11 events involve a conspiracy theory. According to the Bush administration, a group of Muslims had conspired to bring about a large-scale tragedy against the American people. This book shows why this official "conspiracy theory", propagated by the U.S. government, cannot be correct.
Since after Charles Darwin wrote his "On the Origin of Species", the theory of evolution has been resisted by people who believe that humankind is the result of creation. What would you think has been one of the most effective weapons in the hands of those wanting to promote the evolution theory? It is to depict the evolution theory as the more scientific and intellectually reasonable alternative.
This book provides exactly that regarding the events of 9/11: a more scientific and intellectually reasonable alternative to the official "conspiracy theory".
Contrary to what may be inferred from some other reviews, I want to add here that the terms "energy weapon", "beam weapon", "star wars", or "dustified" do not occur in this book. I actually bought the book because I saw a youTube video about a talk given by Jim Fetzer, where he referred to the POSSIBILITY that some sort of a high energy weapon was used to demolish the buildings. I was hoping that he would have elaborated on such weapons in the book (because I thought it would be cool to read about them) but he did not. I have went through the book several times because of hoping to find at least one reference to anything like that, but no luck. Perhaps it is in one of the copious footnotes, which I have largely skipped. By the way, whether he refers to any novel weapons is something you can check for yourself by searching for specific terms with the Amazon 'search inside' feature.
Another issue is that Jim Fetzer is not the only author on this book; besides being the editor of the book, he wrote only one of the chapters (chapter 2). This chapter discusses, among other things, the possibility that the WTC towers fell due controlled demolitions. Jim states (on p. 52) that "there appears to be at least ten features of the collapse of the Twin Towers that are expectable effects of controlled demolitions" [sic]. He lists following 9 of these:
A. the buildings fell at about the rate of free fall
B. both buildings collapsed virtually straight down
C. almost all concrete was turned into very fine dust
D. the collapses were complete, leaving virtually no steel columns standing
E. photographic records of the collapse show "demolition waves" occurring just ahead of the collapsing floors
F. most of the steel beams fell in sections 30' to 40' feet in length
G. firemen reported hearing sequences of explosions
H. seismological events were recorded coincident with aircraft impacts
I. pools of molten metal were observed in the subbasements after the event
In other words, Jim Fetzer does not claim that the STEEL was pulverized; he says that most of the CONCRETE was pulverized.
Then there's the case of whether airplanes actually hit the WTC buildings or not. This is discussed in detail in chapter 6 ("Some Holes in the Plane Stories"), written by Morgan Reynolds and Rick Rajter.
Another good book about the 9/11 tragedy is "Towers of deception", which takes a deeper look at media complicity and false flag operations:
Towers of Deception: The Media Cover-up of 9/11
Alternatively, if you are interested of reading how the media is used to propagate propaganda regarding the state of the U.S. economy, check out chapter 2 in the book "Crash Proof":
Crash Proof: How to Profit From the Coming Economic Collapse (Lynn Sonberg Books)
For another take on why evidence points to the use of explosives in connection with WTC collapse, do a web search for the document "Why Indeed Did the WTC Buildings Completely Collapse?", written by Dr. Steven Jones. Steven is a physicist and archaeometrist and worked for Brigham Young University before retiring in 2006.

Time is showing a growing development of skepticism about the official version of 9/11. The experts contributing to this book have conducted their own research into this seminal event that the Bush administration has used to subvert civil liberties, conduct preemptive wars, and bring the world perilously closer to chaos. In articles and appendices, The 9/11 Conspiracy shows why it’s unlikely that the Twin Towers were brought down by the crashing planes and subsequent fires; why the Pentagon was most likely not hit by a Boeing 757; and why the story of Flight 93 could not have happened as the government claims. For example, the Towers were built to withstand much more impact and heat than actually occurred, and the collapse contradicts the laws of physics. The notable contributors here - including David Ray Griffin and Morgan Reynolds - have thoroughly scrutinized 9/11 from every angle and found the government portrayal of what occurred deceptive - and dangerous.
