A fantastic book for transitional readers. Lots of great illustrations. A wonderful story that introduces Science Fiction and Fantasy to young readers. Lost City of the Moon, takes the reader on journey that will inspire imaginations and leave them wanting more. The book contains a complete alien alphabet. Each chapter has a word to decode. The decoded words provide a clue to the heros next adventure. All in all, a fun book with very charming illustrations.

This book is intended for ages 7 to 11 years. A spaceship lands in the forest behind Jake and Scott's house, and the two boys are launched on a quest of galactic proportions. Nojo, an alien, is looking for a lost treasure from another world, and only Jake and Scott can help him find it. Their adventure takes them to the moon, where danger awaits at every turn. The three treasure hunters encounter alien guards and only quick thinking and quicker action can save the day.
