The story weaves together conflicts great and small, from organized crime's stranglehold on the airline to a pilot trying to hold his family together, all set in a well constructed vision of the very near future. A very impressive debut.

TransGlobal Airlines has joined the battle of domestic airlines and intends to win the war. In the company's plans is the purchase of the world's first hypersonic passenger jet, capable of trans-oceanic flight at Mach 6. The firm explodes on the market, its shares skyrocketing.
